Happy Birthday Buddha!
This weekend I visited one of the local Buddhist Temples with my new friend Catherine. Yes, she is the one I've been out with a few times now. Anyway, you can see in the slideshow that the temple looks very festive. This is all for the big guy's birthday, which is a holiday next saturday, May 2. If you see all the paper lanterns hanging with writing hanging from them on ribbons, those are peoples names and wishes.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the new pictures! some real nice ones there. And they really are festive, You should try to score some of the paper lanterns to hang in the apartment! ha ha. Interesting Derek, your seeing some things that you would of nerver seen, had you not made this decission. Cool.
I like the pics of Catherine, she seems nice, at least by appearance.
Well, we are getting excited about our trip to Utah this weekend! already planning things out.
We will drop the little brother off at the airport very early Sunday morning and then start our way to Utar! We will probably go half way and stay the night somewhere around Huntington Oregon in the fare well bend area.
Mom is after me to show her some stuff online, so take care and chat with ya friday night. Unless we hear from you first of course,
